yes, but not for ALL gay people, just a majority, but how can you blame us, when the only way for us to meet other gay people is at the bar. and what does bar imply, it implys one night stand. its hard for gays to meet other gays in a setting where there is a chance for a romantic relationship, you have to be heavily involved in gay rights activisim, which isnt available everywhere or just meet another one in the work place or in your apartment building by chance. its a lonely life for someone who doesnt like going to bars and partying like me lol.
