Do atheists believe in moralism?

Atheists will tell you they believe in morality. They'll swear it up and down until they turn blue. What that morality is based on, however, they won't be able to give you a clue. They have to use some relativistic dodge, like "tradition" or "common sense," something less than absolute, something that cannot stand the light of day.
