How much damage will a 10.0 earth quake cause?

I don't think a mag 10.0 earthquake is possible. It would be physically impossible. Remember that the Richter scale is a log10 scale and for a quake to reach 10.0 would mean that the rock would have to be Newtonian in its viscousness properties.
