Is it fair enough to inject iodine to a high blood pressure patient ?

the only thing i can think of is that you are thinking iodine has something to do with sodium or is capable of raising someones blood pressure. usually iodine is given before a test such as a scan and is used as contrast in the vessels to allow the technician / dr to see whats going on better, such as the possibility of a blood clot, stroke, ect.
