Learning Russian... Time and difficulty?

Get in touch with some Russians who live nearby -- talk to them -- ask them questions. Some wise man told me to ask questions in their native tongue all the time from a person who speaks language you want to learn. Listen to Russian radio available online. Do study every day till you get some headache (the sign of success in learning). I am Russian and it took me some time to learn English. I do speak your language. Do best to study mine.
